Everton’s interest in re-signing Wayne Rooney has cooled, leaving the Manchester United striker looking at a move to China or the USA. The 31-year-old maintains the only Premier League clubs he would play for are the Toffees, but all hope of a return to Merseyside now looks to have been dashed. (The Sun on Sunday)
